Mumbai: IMD reports Clear Skies, Humid Weather with mixed AQI

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that Mumbai city and its suburbs are likely to experience mostly clear skies today.

Temperature:

  • Maximum temperature: Around 32°C

  • Minimum temperature: Around 24°C

Air Quality (AQI):

According to the Central Pollution Control Board’s Sameer App, Mumbai’s overall AQI is 68, which falls under the “Satisfactory” category. At this level, sensitive individuals may experience minor breathing discomfort.

  • Andheri (East): 95

  • Chembur: 56

Weather across Maharashtra:

Most parts of the state are experiencing hot and humid conditions.

Highest temperatures:

  • Solapur: 38°C (Hottest)

  • Osmanabad: 36.9°C

These temperatures are about 1–4°C lower than the usual April averages.

Coastal regions (moderate heat):

However, due to high humidity, it feels hotter than the actual temperature.
