Mumbai - BMC has decided to light up the Mumbai city with high mast lamps. As these lamps consume less electricity as compared to the existing ones. BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta has asked the officials to survey the areas where these lights will be necessary. Mumbai city has 216 high mast lamps out of which city has 46 lamps, eastern suburbs has 74 & western suburbs has 96 high mast lamps.
