Byculla- In order to provide shelter to the homeless, they had built eight shelter homes in 2012. However, many of them are non-functional. One such night shelter is at Baburao Jagtap road’s Pathan Chawl which is been closed for the last six months. The home is locked and in bad condition. Despite this BMC is planning to build another eight night shelters.
