Important maintenance work is scheduled at the Jambhul Water Purification Center, which is part of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation's (MIDC) water supply scheme.
As a result, the water supply will be completely shut down for 24 hours in some parts of Thane from 12:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2025 to 12:00 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025.
During this shutdown period, there will be no water supply in the following areas in entire Diva, Mumbra (except some parts of Ward 26 and 31), entire Kalwa ward committee area, in Vartak Nagar area: Rupadevi Pada, Kisannagar No. 2, Nehrunagar and in Manpada ward: Kolshet Khalsa Gaon (lower village).

After the water supply resumes, it may be at low pressure for 1 to 2 days. The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has requested all citizens to use water carefully and cooperate during this period.
