At least one person died and two were injured after a crane lost control and collided with a Metro pillar at Andheri Gundavali bus stop. The incident occurred near the Western Express Highway in the early hours on Saturday.
A woman lost her life on the spot as she got trapped after a part of the crane fell on her. The deceased has been identified as Falguni Patel. She was standing at the Gundavali bus stop. The two injured persons were rushed to the hospital.
As per the primary information of the accident, the crane driver lost control while on his way to the Bandra from Jogeshwari. The vehicle collided with a Metro pillar which led to this horrible accident.
