The Forum for Fairness in Education is protesting the arbitrary hikes in private school fees.
The Forum has planned a protest at Azad Maidan on 26 March to raise a voice against a majority of schools in the city that have hiked school fees several times in the last few years.
Forum president Jayant Jain cites the case of a school in Bandra that has allegedly effected a 100 per cent hike in fees. Jain says the government should focus its attention on the autonomous behaviour of these schools.
