Petrol price up 6 paise, diesel by 15 paise on Friday. Check today’s rates

While the price of onion is now on a downward spiral (finally), the price of Petrol and diesel have been increased. On Friday, December 27, the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased for the second consecutive day. 

In Mumbai, the price of petrol has been raised by 6 paise and is now retailing for INR 80.40 and Deisel is up by 16 paise and now available for INR 70.55 a litre.

Petrol and diesel prices were raised for the second consecutive day across all major cities on Friday, after a pause of two days. 

In Delhi, petrol prices rose to INR 74.74 a litre on Friday, while diesel price climbed to INR  67.24 per litre on. In Kolkata, petrol costs INR  77.40 a litre, in Chennai, INR 77.70 a litre. 

in Kolkata, diesel now costs Rs 69.66 a litre, in Chennai Rs 71.09 a litre. 

Onion, on the other hand, is now retailing between INR 100 to 110 per kg in Mumbai. Earlier in the month, the price of onion touched INR 150 per kg.
