Pratiksha Nagar – The residents of Pratiksha nagar took out a morcha to demand reconstruction of the Mariamman Devi temple that was razed recently. The morcha started from Pratiksha Nagar and ended at Matunga ward office. MLA R. Tamilselvan also participated in the morcha. Later, demonstrators submitted a memorandum to Ward Officer Keshav Ubale. Temple priest Arun Devender said that this temple was razed without holding consultation with us. We have submitted all the related legal documents to the ward officer and now demand the reconstruction of this temple.
