Jogeshwari - Indira Gandhi Nagar slum at Jogeshwari east will be surveyed by BMC, promised CM Devendra Fadnavis to MLA and Minister of State Ravindra Vaikar.
Indira Gandhi Nagar is on railways land since 1990. As per the law, these 120 slum dwellers are protected against demolition. They need to be rehabilitated but railway is not showing any interest in this matter, informed Vaikar to CM. They were at the assessment programme of higher and technical education department under CM flagship.
