Kandivali- Kandivali’s R South ward’s safai workers have got the Diwali bonus but they are not able to encash the cheques. Enraged workers carried out the protest on the R South ward office. They are alleging that they have given Rs. 9 thousand cheque as a bonus which belonged to Axis bank. When they deposited the cheques in the bank, they were told that that their cheque got bounced. “We have been assured that we will get our bonus in next two days”, said C Perumal, safai worker.
