Mumbai- Lok Ayukt has ordered to send the penguins back to their homeland during an hearing which took place on Friday. Opposition leader Pravin Chheda had written a letter to the Lok Ayukt regarding the penguin’s death. Along with the order, Lok Ayukt has also asked BMC as to why penguins were brought to Mumbai despite knowing that Byculla zoo does not have suitable conditions. They also ordered to find out who is responsible for the penguins death and next hearing is scheduled on 15th November.
