Mumbai - Where there is an empty road there are hawkers sitting there. This is the scenario of the city. There is a new announcement in state government's meeting held on Tuesday to formulate hawkers policy. Keeping the BMC election in the mind, Congress was to cash on these groups of hawkers who are sure shot game changers for any party.
Hawkers mode of livelihood was taken into consideration and full security will be given to them to carry out their work. Hawkers will be provided with a certificate, but only the hawkers who have the domicile will receive the certificate. There are loads of north Indians in the city who work as hawkers for their livelihood.
