Dharavi - Under swatchch Bharat Abhiyan, Bmc is implementing various projects .Bmc's G north ward has built two biodigester toilets in Dharavi and Sion-Mahim link road . Both toilets have combined seating capacity of 30 seats .This is for the first time Mumbai has biodigester toilet
Features of biodigester toilet -
-The septic tank is made of F.R.P where bacteria destroy waste and only water is relased out
-This water can be used for washing and watering purpose
-The seats are of stainless steel so can be cleaned easily
- The toilets have mirror and wash basin
