The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a water cut across several parts of the city to undertake pre-monsoon maintenance and repair works at key water supply facilities. The shutdown will take place from 9 am to 9 pm on Wednesday, June 3.
The maintenance work will be carried out at the high-pressure substations of the Pise pumping station and Temghar water purification centre, which are part of TMC's own water supply scheme.
The work includes repairs to control panels, transformer oil filtration and other technical maintenance activities.
