The city might face heavy rainfall over the weekend according to IMD

The Rain Gods have been blessing the city half way through September as well and Thursday evening saw a spur of heavy rainfall in the city. According to the Santacruz observatory, it received 53.4mm rainfall between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

Mumbai has witnessed thunderstorms since the beginning of the week and the random 3:00 am thundering was as spooky as it could get!

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the city might up against heavy rainfall over the weekend.

In no time on Thursday, water started to accumulate in no time as areas like Shivaji Park saw a foot of waterlogged immediately as it rained heavily. And how can we talk about water logging and not mention Dadar station? Water had accumulated outside the station and people were once again left stranded for a while.
