Masjid- Additional Commissioner, B ward, Uday Kumar Shirurkar initiated a demolition drive on the illegal shops on monday.
Uday Kumar Shirurkar, who is also known as Singham of BMC was personally conducting the drive in which 15 illegal shops in Crawford market area were demolished and the goods were seized by BMC workers. Actions was also taken on illegally parked vehicles.
Pedestrians were finding it difficult to walk because of these illegal shops on the roads. This demolition drive has now made it easy for the people to walk freely on the roads.
