Vikhroli: Four houses collapsed owing to the fall of the rickety retaining wall

Four houses collapsed in the Parksite area of Vikhroli on Friday morning after a protective wall collapsed. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident. However, the police informed, that there was a lot of damage to the houses.

After a two-day break, rains again made a strong presence in Mumbai from Thursday night. Heavy rain was falling in many areas on Thursday night. The protective wall in the Varsha Nagar area of Vikhroli Parksite suffered major cracks due to heavy rains. As soon as some residents noticed this matter, they immediately ran out of the house with their families. So no one was injured in this accident.

But on Friday morning, four houses collapsed completely. As soon as the news of the incident came to light, the municipal corporation and fire brigade immediately rushed to the spot and evacuated the dangerous houses nearby.
