For the convivence of passengers attending the WNC Navy Half Marathon 2025 to be held on November 23, 2025, the Western Railway (WR) and Central Railway (CR) has decided to run special trains.
Accordingly, the CR will run 2 Special Suburban Services on November 22/23, 2025, (Saturday / Sunday mid-night).
The details of special local trains are as under:
1. Main Line - Kalyan-CSMT Special
Special train will depart Kalyan at 02.30 hrs and arrive at CSMT Mumbai at 04.00 hrs.
2. Harbour Line – Panvel-CSMT Special
Special train will depart Panvel at 02.40 hrs and arrive CSMT Mumbai at 04.00 hrs.
Both these special trains will halt at all stations. Passengers are requested to note and avail the facilities.
Meanwhile, the Western Railway (WR) has announced an early morning special train between Virar to Churchgate for the WNC Navy Half Marathon organised on Sunday, November 23.
According to an official notification by the WR, the special slow local train will depart from Virar at 2:30 am and will reach Churchgate at 4:12 am.
The race will take place in South Mumbai, passing through iconic landmarks such as Cross Maidan and Marine Drive. However, a detailed route map will be available closer to the event date, reports stated.
The marathon has three categories of races: the 21.1 km Aircraft Carrier Run, the 10K Destroyer Run, and the 5K Frigate Run.
