To set a roadmap for Indian cricket, former teammates and pals, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid will reconnect in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The BCCI president and head of National Cricket Academy will be meeting to discuss the future of Indian cricket.

As the former captains meet, it is expected that Ganguly will provide his inputs to the roadmap for the institution which has already been drawn by Rahul Dravid. The meeting will be attended by all the newly elected BCCI office-bearers who took charge October 30. NCA CEO Tufan Ghosh will also be part of discussions.

One of the crucial aspects would be bringing a change in the notion that NCA is a rehabilitation centre. For the past few years NCA, which was supposed to be the supply line of Indian cricket, has become a rehabilitation centre, which even Ganguly acknowledged after taking over. Ganguly is expected to be updated on the new NCA project, which is being developed.

"Ganguly and Dravid will be discussing the way forward for NCA and the issues it faces," a BCCI official told PTI.

Former players including VVS Laxman and India head coach Ravi Shastri along with Indian cricket fans have placed high faith in the celebrated duo of Ganguly and Dravid.
