Team India's campaign is officially over in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Even though they have the highest run rate in their group, they couldn't make it to the semi-finals. 

However, India is gearing up for its upcoming matches.

Wondering what is India's schedule now? Don't worry we got you covered! Here's India schedule up till March 2022 :

1. New Zealand tour of India 

It will be commencing from 17 November 2021. India will be playing 3 T20's and 2 Test matches against NZ.

  • 1st T20I - November 17 in Jaipur
  • 2nd T20I - November 19 in Ranchi
  • 3rd T20I - November 21 in Kolkata
  • 1st Test - November 25-29 in Kanpur
  • 2nd Test - December 3-7 in Mumbai

2. India tour of South Africa

It will start on December 17, 2021, and end on January 26, 2022. They will be playing 3 test matches3 ODI's and 4 T20 matches against SA in South Africa. 

  • 1st Test - December 17-21, Johannesburg
  • 2nd Test - December 26-30, Centurion
  • 3rd Test - January 3-7, Cape Town

The 1st ODI will be on January 11 at Paarl, followed by the 2nd on January 14 at Cape Town, and the 3rd on January 16 in Cape Town. The 1st T20 will be played on January 19 in Cape Town, 2nd and 3rd T20 will be played on January 21 and January 23 at the same venue, Cape Town. While the 4th T20 will be played on January 26 at Paarl.

3. West Indies tour of India

After returning to the country, Team India will play 3 ODI and 3 T20 matches against West Indies in 2022.

  • 1st ODI - February 6 in Ahmedabad
  • 2nd ODI - February 9 in Jaipur

4. Sri Lanka tour of India

Sri Lanka will visit India and play 2 test matches and 3 T20 matches against India.

  • 1st Test - February 25-March 1 in Bengaluru
  • 2nd Test - March 5-9 in Mohali
  • 1st T20I - March 13 in Mohali
  • 2nd T20I - March 15 in Dharamsala
  • 3rd T20I - March 18 in Lucknow

After this, next season of IPL is likely to commence from April 2022 and continue till May 2022.

This was Virat Kohli's last T20 as a captain, and even head coach Ravi Shashtri has completed his tenure as a coach. Rahul Dravid is now appointed as the head coach for the Indian team, and Rohit Sharma will be leading the men in blue. Meanwhile, KL Rahul will play the role of Vice-Captain.
