Recently, rumours about Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians asking the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to hasten the inquiry process about Hardik Pandya were making rounds. However, the franchise has responded to the reports and denied making any such requests.

Suspended Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have been in trouble since the controversial remarks made by Pandya on a TV chat show, Koffee With Karan. In a series of comments, Pandya had irked several spectators by immature comments on virginity as well as numerous misogynistic remarks.
