Emerging as a decent left-arm pacer, Arjun Tendulkar grabbed a five-wicket haul against Gujarat and helped Mumbai to win the match by the 38th over with nine wickets in hand. Tendulkar’s 5/30 spell came against Gujarat in the second round encounter of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy on Saturday.
The 19-year-old bowler dismissed Vardhman Dattesh Shah (0), Priyesh (1), LM Kocher (8), Jaymeet Patel (26) and Dhruvang Patel (6) in the 8.2 overs he bowled. Arjun also bowled a maiden over during his spell.

Chasing 143, Mumbai openers Suven Parkar (67*) and Divyaanch (45) built a solid partnership for the team and eased the victory for the team with a 108-run opening partnership.
The India U-19 pacer was earlier named in the junior national team for the U-19 Tests against Sri Lanka in the month of July. In the two-match series, the left-arm pacer picked up three wickets in four innings.
Mumbai will now play against Bengal in their upcoming group match and will later play against Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.
