Kandivali - Kandivali police have arrested two accused for kidnapping a professor and his wife. According to police, accused Mohammed Salim Shaikh and Sunil Singh had beaten up the couple and kidnapped them. One more accused identified as Hamid Haider Kazi is reported absconding. Prof. Lalit Dedhia was going towards Borivali from Kandivali Link Road. The car he was driving hit a rickshaw. Claiming damages to the rickshaw the accused demanded Dedhia to pay compensation of Rs 30,000. As Dedhia refused to do this, the accused assaulted him and kidnapped him along with his wife.
