Mumbai – The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in two different operations in Dongri and Mumbra, seized 281 bottles of Corex cough syrup and 10 grams of Mephedrone worth Rs 5.4 lakh from the house of one Shakeel Mohammed. A man identified as Saqlain Qureshi alias Shakeel Mota was arrested in this connection. Shakeel Mota was employing his son Saqlain in the trafficking of Mephedrone.
In another operation, a truck bearing Jammu & Kashmir registration was intercepted in general area Mumbra toll naka in which 50 kg of Hash worth Rs 2 crore was concealed in false cavity of the truck. The driver, namely Khurshid Ahmed, was arrested along with the recipient Peter Fernandez and Mohd Asif.
