BMC will initiate action against Ganesh Mandal’s who has set up illegal pandal’s. BMC had given permission to 1160 and denied permission to 750 Ganesh Mandals. BMC will first send notices to those mandals who have immersed their idols. In second phase, mandals who celebrate 11 days of ganesh festival will get the notice. However, till now not a single mandal has got the notice yet.
