A 15-year-old boy who went swimming in a well with his friends died of shock in Mahul village. The RCF police registered a case against the three and arrested them. Ved Turbhekar, who lives in Mahul village of Chembur, went down to swim in the village well with four friends on June 13. A nearby hotel operator had set up a motor to pump water from the well. The boy was shocked by this motor.
His friends immediately informed Veda's father. He immediately admitted Ved to a private hospital. But he died before treatment. Based on the complaint made by Ved's father, the RCF police registered a case and arrested a total of three people including the hotel manager.
