NCB conducts raids across various places in Mumbai

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), on Thursday, September 17, conducted raids in connection with Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. As per reports, a large number of drugs was seized from the NCB and names of some smugglers have come forward. NCB officials are looking into the matter.

Earlier last week, officials arrested Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others related to the matter, and this was touted to a big move by the department.

However, new revelations are coming to light, every day, related to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Keeping this in mind, officials have decided to look into the crime in a stringent manner.  The number of accused arrested is also increasing, observing which the NCB has sought the help of additional teams from outside Mumbai to investigate the case.

Recently, a team has reached Mumbai from Ahmedabad and after Rhea's arrest, names of many Bollywood actors have been included in the drugs case, on the radar of NCB. The information has been obtained after the interrogation of the arrested accused and the NCB officials have receives updates about the people involved in drugs, in Mumbai and Goa. As per recent updates, a total of seven dealers have been arrested in this case.

It is said that the raid by the NCB officials in Mumbai and Goa on Thursday has put the illegal circuit in alert, and many smugglers have been left stranded. After the arrest of seven dealers came into light, a large quantity of drug paraphernalia was also seized by NCB officials.
