Amboli Police and Dahanu police raided a ‘Breaking Bad’ scenario in Bejpada Village (Dahanu) on August 25 and seized 900 grams of Mephedrone and INR 41.02 lakh worth material which is used to cook the toxic stuff.
They arrested three accused under the NDPS Act, 1985.
The Amboli cops had arrested one Nadeem Nasir Shaikh alias Imran (29) with 1 kg of Mephedrone drugs on August 21 and were all set to trace the origin of the racket. During the interrogation, Nadeem had tipped of Dahanu as the location from where the supply origins.
A joint raid was conducted and 900 grams of finished drugs reportedly worth INR 19 lakhs was seized and INR 41.02 lakh worth hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, iodine, thinner and other materials used for the manufacture of the drug, and INR 65,000 cash.
We could actually shoot a ‘Breaking Bad’ spin-off in Mumbai as there’s some drug bust every other day. Well, the Heisenberg show was entertaining but doing this in real life is not cool. Please say NO to drugs and live a clean life.
