NCB arrest foreign national with heroin worth ₹1.5 Cr

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of Mumbai Police has arrested a foreign national from Borivali for selling drugs. The police also recovered one and a half kilo heroine from her whose market price is estimated to be about ₹1.5 Cr. This woman came to Mumbai in August Kranti Rajdhani Express from Delhi. 

According to NCB sources, 26-year-old Grace Birungi Nakinteda belongs to Uganda. Police further said that the Narcotics Department received a tip about drug trafficking taking place in the train arriving from Delhi.

Based on the same information, the police laid a trap. And when the police saw the foreign national, they found her suspicious. Police then took her into custody and searched her bags where they found a bag of powder in it and when they inspected it, they found it was a heroin.

According to NCB sources, the woman is not co-operating but she revealed that she had purchased a heroin from Delhi and had come to Mumbai to sell it. Now the NCB is investigating about the foreign national to know her background.
