Goregaon – In a terrifying incident, a family residing at Squaters’ Colony in Iraniwadi here was attacked with acid at 2 am. Three persons from the family received injuries in the incident and they are undergoing treatment at Shatabdi Hospital. According to information, the complainant works at a bangles polishing shop. He had a verbal fight with his two colleagues who threw the bad containing acid from the crack in the door at 2 am. The complainant has sustained 70% burn injuries while his wife and 4-year-old son have sustained 20 and 25 per cent burn injuries respectively. A case of attempt to murder has been registered in Dindoshi police station and police have detained two suspects and investigating further.
