Women police inspector was smacked by the devotee at Lalbaug. When API Rekha Khajure asked for the ID, she was manhandled by Sagar Rahate at Lalbaug Ganesh Mandal. For the security purpose, residents have been given ID card, which they are supposed to show while entering Lalbaug. Police have booked Rahate under IPC section of 353, 332 & 506.
