Mankhurd - Another life has been claimed at Makhurd’s home for mentally challenged children run by The Children's Aid Society.
Shankar was ill for the last 10 days and was taking treatment at Sion hospital. In the last two months, eight boys have lost their lives, raising questions regarding the safety and health issues at the institution. Several political parties had visited the home and made inquiries after seven children lost their lives in quick succession. However, no steps appear to have been taken to remedy the situation.
