Thane: Fire breaks out at wafers godown in Manpada

According to reports, in the wee hours of Friday, February 19, a fire broke out in a godown at the Kothari compound in Manpada, Maharashtra.

The godown containing chips and cold drinks is approximately 6,200 sqft. Moreover, the Thane Regional Disaster Management Cell confirmed that there were no casualties or injuries reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, two jumbo tankers, two water tankers and a fire engine were sent to douse the flames. Even though the cause of the fire is yet to be known, the Thane RDMC stated that 12 tempos in the parking lot of the godown got burnt.
