Kurla RPF nabbed a gang leader who has successfully stolen mobile phones of commuters on the train along with his gang members. Gang leader always posed as public relation officer, railway. Mujeeb Dawood Sheikh (55) has worked as the professional thief from past 40 years.
On Thursday night, RPF officer was travelling from CST towards Kurla and the thief skillfully stole the mobile phone from his pocket. RPF caught the thief and brought him to Thane station. When investigated the mobile was recovered.
Other than that 5 more mobile phones were recovered along with the knife and a dummy pistol to threaten commuters. Thief stated this loud and clear that he will be out on the bail and will steal again.
