A major fire broke out in Thakkar Bappa area in Nehru Nagar on Tuesday at 2 pm. The fire broke out in the chappal workshop. Gradually the adjacent godowns too caught fire.
Around 10-12 came under the clutches of the strong fire. 8 fire engines reached the spot. The fire was doused within a couple of hours.
Houses adjacent to godowns were vacated immediately. No casualties were reported in the accident.
