In a deadly collision between a Mercedes Benz and a tempo on the Vakola bridge of the Western Express Highway (WEH), the tempo driver died on the spot.
The bus driver is on run, as per initial reports. However, none of the passengers on the bus sustained serious injuries.

The passengers who were travelling in the bus were employees of the Cathay Pacific Airlines who were on the way to Hotel Taj Land's End. The tempo and the bus collided head on, as soon as the bus reached the Vakola Bridge.
There was a traffic jam on the Western Express Highway following the accident. Currently, police are probing the incident further.
