Missing boy found after one and half months of investigation

Wadala - Wadala GRP found four years old Dhananjay Jagdish Bhavsaar at Gaondevi ground. He had gone missing from 1st January while commuting in the CST- Chembur local.

After receiving a missing complaint on 1st January, police began their investigation and checked the CCTV footage for a lead. Finally, after one and half months of investigation, police found the missing boy on 13 February at Gaondevi maidan. Dhananjay was seen with an unknown lady at Gaondevi area. After getting the tip, the trap was laid out and then they took the boy into custody. After conducting a medical enquiry, the boy was handed over to his grandmother.

On 1st January, Dhananjay Bhavsaar was waiting for the train with her mother at Chembur railway station. While boarding the train, Dhananjay boarded the train but her mother couldn’t get on the train. Disheartened mother boarded another train and tried tracing him but her efforts were in vain. Wadala railway police published numbers as well to trace the boy. Meanwhile, her mother also died. After which, her aunt was following up with the police.
