A tragic incident occurred in Mumbai’s Bhandup area, where one person died and 10 others were injured after falling into a pit at an under-construction SRA building.
According to officials, the victims were attending a nearby wedding ceremony when the accident took place. Some people accidentally fell into an open construction pit, and others who attempted to help also got trapped in the incident. The injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Rescue teams, including the Mumbai Fire Brigade, carried out operations at the site. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, raising concerns over safety lapses at construction sites.
