An email threatening to plant a bomb at the Mumbai High Court building at Hutatma Chowk was received again. Following this incident, Mumbai Police conducted a search operation at the High Court on Friday morning, but nothing suspicious was found. The High Court had received a bomb threat last week, and the courtroom was evacuated and inspected.
The High Court received the threatening e-mail on Friday, September 19 morning. An investigation was immediately conducted at the High Court that morning. But nothing suspicious was found, Mumbai Police said. Sources also said that the proceedings in the High Court are going on smoothly.
Earlier last week, the Delhi and Bombay High Courts had received threatening emails on the same day. It is suspected that the same person was behind both the cases. But the accused has used the dark net and VPN, so the police are facing difficulties in catching him.
