Pay and Park facilities are available at Uran Railway Station for two-wheelers, with a charge of INR 20 for 12 hours. However, due to this high fee, many passengers choose to park their vehicles along the old railway station and the Uran–Panvel road, where there is no security, increasing the risk of vehicle theft.

Passengers have demanded a reduction in parking fees at stations along the Uran–Nerul and Belapur routes—a demand that gained momentum during the recent assembly elections, with promises made to lower the charges. A formal request has also been submitted to Central Railway officials.

Currently, passengers pay INR 225 for a monthly train pass from Uran to Ghansoli, but are charged INR 450 per month for parking—double the fare itself. This has led to growing frustration among local commuters.

Additionally, the stretch between Uran Kotnaka and Bokadvira Police Post sees heavy traffic and is lined with parked two-wheelers on both sides, increasing the risk of road accidents.
