Mumbai - Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur was given a clean chit by NIA in 2008 Malegaon blasts case. Yet she is not released as the trial court has rejected her bail plea dismissing the clean chit given by NIA on 28th June. Sadhvi Pradnya Singh Thakur has appealed to the high court against this decision. The high court was surprised and asked how can a person be in Jail when the prosecuting agency has given a clean chit. Next hearing of this case is on 16th November for which the court has asked for all the documents and proceedings of the trial court. In September 2008, 7 persons had lost their lives in Malegaon Blasts. In 2009 Sadhvi Pradnya was arrested regarding this matter as the scooter carrying explosive belonged to her.
