Dahisar - Dahisar police have seized gutkha worth Rs 1.5 lakh from a tempo at Dahisar octroi post.
Police on getting a tip-off about the gutkha consignment being transported by a tempo swung into action and kept an eye on the vehicle.
Police inspector Pawar with his team started checking the vehicles. When police checked tempo (MH-02/CD-9360) they found various gutkha products in the tempo. Police brought the tempo at Dahisar police station for the further procedure and the gutkha was handed over to Food and Drugs Department. Further investigations are underway.
