Borivali - In a sensational incident, it has come to fore that a trustee of a temple has stolen silver worth crores of rupees. According to police, a case against Mahendra Jain was registered for stealing a silver chariot decorative roof from the Sambhavnath Jain Temple in Borivali. Local residents have alleged that Mahendra Jain who is also a trustee of the temple has stolen the said ornament weighing 330 kgs worth Rs 1.85 crore with the help of a trader in Malad. Jain has not been arrested as yet.
