Six-year-old student dies while playing in school

Swarang Dalvi, a six-year-old student from Pawar Public School, Chandivali, died while playing on Thursday morning. First-grade student Swarang’s body was taken to Hiranandani Hospital and police are investigating the case for more details. 

According to the preliminary reports, six-year-old Swarang fell down on the floor while playing and lost consciousness. When he was taken to a doctor, he was declared dead on arrival. His father is a music teacher with Bhandup’s Pawar Public school. Police are now checking the CCTV camera footage and have also spoken to the school staff.

Upon investigation, we did not find any scars or injuries on his body. Until we get the post-mortem report, we will not know the real cause of his death,” Sanjay Patil, Assistant Commissioner.
