Co-founder of Qyuki Digital, Samir Bangara, passes away in a road accident

On Sunday, June 14, 2020, Co-founder of Qyuki, Samir Bangara, passed away in an accident in Mumbai. The news was shared on social media by music composer Vishal Dadlani. 

Reports state that he met with a bike accident while he was out on a Sunday ritual. Officials are investigating the matter. 

Vishal Dadlani wrote, "Just heard that @samirbangara is no more. Horrible, heartbreaking news. Man's been a friend for a long time. Such a good guy, so straight-up. Helped so many people build careers out of nothing! His legacy will remain. Much love and strength to the family. 2020, enough please!”

Many other celebrities like Kubbra Sait, Armaan Malik, Aditi Singh Sharma and others also took to social media to share their condolences. 

Qyuki was founded in 2010 by Samir Bangara, Shekhar Kapur and AR Rahman and Samir Bangara, as artist management and content creation firm. Bangara was earlier associated with Disney UTV as the Managing Director of the digital division.
