Bollywood Ace producer Karan Johar announced on Wednesday that the team will now venture into a new digital division called Dharmatic, which will focus on creating content for digital channels.
Sharing the news, Karan took to social media with a message that read, "Our new journey begins! DHARMATIC! The digital content company. This is our new baby." The message was accompanied with a picture of the company's workplace.
Further, the producer also introduced Somen Mishra as the head of creative development and former journalist Aneesha Baig as the head of non-fiction content at the new venture.
Over the last few years, the production house has tasted success with films and the advertising division. On the work front, the team is presenting Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar-starrer 2.0 that is slated to release on November 28. Besides this, Johar is also producing two multi starrer films Kalank and Takht
