IIT Mumbai receives global recognition

Times Higher Education Ranking, an institute in Asia recently announced the global list of top 30 universities, and Mumbai-based Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) has been ranked 26th position, whereas has ranked second in India.

Indian Institute of Science (IISc.) Bangalore has been ranked 13th globally whereas leads the ranking in India. As per the reports, the rankings of IIT Bombay and Indian Institute of Science have improved this year as compared to last year. Meanwhile, the University of Mumbai did not get a place in this world rankings, once again.

This ranking list was announced by the World University Rank, and the list is formed on the basis of, various factors like reputation of the institute, skills of the employees, number of students, teachers in the Ph.D. division, management, international teachers, etc.
