HSC exam papers row resolved - teachers' federation withdraws protest

The Maharashtra State Junior College Teachers' Federation, that had decided to boycott work by not checking the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) papers due to their pending demands, has withdrawn the protest. 

The teachers had stopping checking the board exam papers to protest against the indifference of the Education Department to the demands of the teachers federation.

A meeting was held with State Education Minister Vinod Tawde and State Finance Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar regarding the pending salaries of the teachers and other issues. After the demands were accepted, Maharashtra State Junior College Teachers' Federation president Anil Deshmukh announced that the protest was withdrawn.
