Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil has directed that a committee should be set up for the establishment of Divyang University in the state.
In connection with the establishment of Divyang University in Amravati district, a meeting was held in Mantralaya on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil. He gave these orders in this meeting.
The government has already decided to set up a separate disabled department in the state. For the educational facility of the disabled, it is necessary to have a separate university for the disabled in the state. The state government is positive for this and the work of this university will be expedited.
MLA Bachchu Kadu, Principal Secretary Higher and Technical Education Department Vikas Chandra Rastogi, Deputy Secretary Ajit Baviskar, Higher Education Director Shailendra Devlankar and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
