Students taking admission in professional courses face many difficulties while giving the entrance exam. For this, a mock test facility has been made available for 17 professional courses for the first time this year for the state common entrance exams. This will help the students to get information about the format of the exam and help to remove the doubts and fears in their minds. Students will be charged INR 500 for this test.
Considering the number of students taking admission in engineering and technology, pharmacology, agriculture courses under MHT CET, online practice question sets were earlier made available to the students through the State Professional Entrance Test Chambers. This set of questions was getting good response from the students as they could predict how the questions would be asked in the exam.

In order to benefit more students from this facility, MHT CET students along with other 17 professional courses have been provided a mock test facility by the State Common Entrance Examination Hall from this year. This facility will be made available by the State Common Entrance Examination Hall for B. Ed, MBA/MMS, B.A B.Sc B.Ed, MAd, APEd, B.Ed-M.Ed courses.
In this mock test, students will be given five exams. The five exams conducted in the mock test will help the students to understand the format of the exam and also to estimate the difficulty level of the questions in the exam. Dilip Sardesai, Commissioner of State Common Entrance Examination said that this will help reduce the mental stress on the students while giving the actual entrance examination and they will be able to take the examination with an open mind.
Fees to be paid for mock test
A mock test facility has been provided to the students taking admission in professional courses to get an idea of the exam and to reduce the stress of the exam. But students have been charged INR 500 for this mock test. After registering the application on the website of the State Common Entrance Examination Board, students need to register for the Mock Test from the ATAL activity link. After this registration and payment of INR 500 fee, students will be able to take five exams.
